Backup & Restore Your Computer

Before I restore your computer all of your settings and important files will be saved. Images of how your computer looked before it's restored will be saved so it will appear that nothings been changed! Note: Customer should supply restore cd if applicable.

Customer will then decide if they want to store their backups on their computers hard drive. If you decide to store the backups on the hard drive you won't have to pay to restore your computer again. If you decide to use the restore cd or drive image and not store backups on the hard drive you will have to pay again to have your computer restored.

Note: Storing your backups on your hard drive requires that I partition your hard drive and determine the size of the partition. This partition will be invisible and nobody will see your backups but you'll know it's there. Your hard drive isn't harmed at all in this process and this process can be undone if the customer pays the original fee. By doing this allows you to save important files, not just backup files to be restored by you anytime at no cost!

When you choose to save your backups to your hard drive you'll receive free backup/restore software on a cd. This is the only cd you'll need to make backups and restore previous backups you've made and I'll show you how to do this. Plus I'll configure your computer for optimum performance and give you advice on how to keep it that way.

You're probably wondering how safe is this procedure? I can tell you this I've used this method for years now and haven't had a problem. In fact all of the computers at our house are configured this way. I was looking for backup and restore software for linux and now I use it for Windows XP too.

It's 99.9% safe and the only problems that could occur is if your cd-rom or hard drive fails. But as a further precaution you could burn your backups to a DVD. Just think if you want to restore your computer, you won't have to pay anybody again to do it and that's a real savings!

Backups only include data at the time of the backup. Data added after backup that is stored won't be included unless you make a new backup!
